The Secret Gift| Short Story

It was December and the snow was falling outside. I sat in my room with wrapping paper, tape, scissors, and sweets everywhere. There was mess everywhere, which I was greatly annoyed by. The gift was not meant to be this hard to put together. I put the chocolate and sweets in a small box and wrapped it up. Then started to wrap it up. I groaned, it looked awful. All lumpy with patches of ripped wrapping paper. I tore off the paper and looked around for another way to wrap the gift up. "Maybe I shouldn't do it. It is a stupid idea. He won't even thank me for it. I mean, he won't even know it is from me so he will not be able to thank me for it. What if someone saw me leave it by the classroom door? I would never live it down." I said to myself. I grabbed a Twix, and sat on my bed with my laptop.
