It's Winter Time - Questions

The questions: What are your favourite things about winter? My favourite thing about the winter is taking pictures of the snow and the snowy scenery. I also like wearing jumpers and I can only wear them in the winter weather. Lastly, I love seeing the beautiful Christmas lights that people put up in their gardens and the lights put up around the town and city.  What is your favourite winter outfit? Outside/During the day: A warm sweater, boots, gloves, and a scarf. I love wearing scarves.  I actually have a slow growing collection of scarves. Inside/evenings: Warm and cosy pyjamas or my purple onesie. What is your favourite winter food? Mince Pies.  Christmas Pudding.  Christmas Cake.  Turkey.  Roast Potatoes.  Pumpkin Soup. Christmas Dinner. What are two of your favourite Christmas Movies? This is a hard one....I love The Grinch, Home Alone, and The Elf.  I have not actually watched many Christ...

Winter Adventure| I thought I was going to die?!

I am not a huge fan of the cold, therefore I don't like the snow very much. I love taking photos of the snowy scenery but except for that I try to have as little to do with it as possible but living in a country where it snows every winter it is very hard not to be outside in the snow at all. A couple years ago, I was going to school every day and of course this included during the winter seasons. I live on a hill and in the mornings I would always walk down the hill to catch the bus to school.  Now, on this particular day that I am going to be telling you about there was no snow. It was cold weather but it was not freezing. I was rushing for school, and had everything but before leaving I pulled on my everyday pair of shoes. The whole day went well, and I did not worry at all about the shoes I was wearing. That is until the late afternoon. It had started to snow after the first break but it had not really settled much but as the day went on, the snow had started to settle and I ...

I saw Liam Payne?! - Storytime

Image
I am back again writing another Storytime from my life. These types of posts have been the most asked for and people seem to love them so I decided I would write my time meeting two of my favourite celebrities....Liam Payne from One Direction and the talented actress Julie Andrews. Both of these stories took place at airports, which is the best place to see celebrities because they travel around a lot. I'm going to start with meeting Julie Andrews, one of my favourite actresses who stars in my favourite musical of all time, "The Sound Of Music" I think it was last Christmas holidays, but I could be wrong. We were on our way back from England and we had landed in Geneva. I am really sure these facts are right. Anyway, we were collecting out bags and my sister and I were really tired so we sat down on these seats while we waited for the bags. My brothers and parents were standing nearby talking. So, my sister and I were almost falling asleep when I heard a familiar...

Lost In Paris?! - Storytime

Image
I can't remember the year I went to this school, but I went to a school near to where I live which was bilingual. There were students from across Europe but most students were Swiss. I didn't like my main class teacher very much but I am not going to be talking about class. Instead, today, I am going to talk about our school trip to Paris, France. The French class I was in my brother was part of too, which had its positives and negatives, which I also won't go into but our class was small because we were one of the "learning french as foreign students" class. So, for this camp there were about six students and my main class teacher came along too, of course, and my English teacher, which was not the same English teacher as my brother. This trip is actually the first time ever I went to Paris, and so far the only time I have ever been. And the visit did not go very well because a lot went wrong. The whole trip was also done in just two days, as far as I r...

Justice League: Movie Rating

Image
Last Sunday, 19th November, I went to see Justice League at the cinema with my Dad and one of my brothers. I have never watched a Superhero film before, but I have watched a couple episodes of Smallville when my two brothers watched the series a while back, and I enjoyed those, but never watched all the episodes. I have been interested in superhero films but they are not the sort of movies I will pick as a first choice, and I guess my brothers have taken that as me not liking them so have never asked me if I want to watch any, which is fine, I guess some changes just have to be made. I have not actually mean interested in any superhero film that much before, except for Wonder Women which I really want to watch. *According to Wikipedia:    "Justice League" is the second-most-expensive film ever made.* Anyway, let's talk about Justice League. I personally would rate this movie a 7 or  8 out of 10. There are some things that confused me about the film, fo...

Interviewing My Friends #3: Sam

I interviewed my cousin Sam about School and University and he gave some great answers. I really enjoy doing these interviews, and hope to do some more in the future. I hope you enjoy and if you would like to be interviewed next or have any questions go ahead and leave them in the comments. 1) Were you ever bullied at school, when growing up? No, I was never bullied. I had the occasional remark about my hair colour (Ginger), but I was fortunate enough to not get bullied. 2) What were your hobbies growing up?  I was always very sporty, I did all sorts of sport from football to swimming and even tennis. Eventually I settled on running. I also enjoyed video games. 3) What are your hobbies now? Mainly running, but I love going to the gym and watching football. I also enjoy relaxing with friends and watching TV series. 4) What is one thing you liked and one thing you hated about school? I liked the camaraderie of school growing up, I have a lot of great memories from the...

List Of My Recently Viewed Movies

Image
A list, and my opinions, on some of the films that I watched this summer that came out this year or last year. If you have watched any of the movies I have mentioned or have any movies you think I would like, please leave them in the comments.  1- La La Land  Before I watched this movie I had watched the trailer about twenty times and had really wanted to watch it but when I finally came to watching it was not as amazing as I had thought it would be, but I still loved it. I love romance stories and La La Land defiantly was one. I think I enjoyed this movie much more than my brothers did, but then again I love romantic movies more than I think they do. I didn't really like the ending, and I don't want to give to much away to anyone who has not watched it, but I didn't like how they didn't end up together in the end.  I also loved Ryan Gosling in this movie. I have not seen any other movies with Ryan Gosling but I still really like him as an actor and I thin...
