Christmas Day & Dinner

The holidays are here.
Christmas Day today.
Hope you all had a great day.
My family and I don't really celebrate but we did enjoy today.
We are in England, and today we had a lovley breakfast, watched The Croods, and lots of TV and went out for Christmas Dinner.
Christmas Dinner?!
It was lovley. A really nice meal.
We sent in our orders a couple days ago so we knew what we were getting to ear when we sat down.
We had a 3 course meal.
For the starter I had Guineu Fowl and the rest of my family had scallops.
This was followed by Turkey, for myself, dad and brothers.
My mum had Halibut, which she had changed from her original  Turkey decision a day or two ago, and my sister had Beef Wellington.
For dessert all six of us had Christmas Pudding.
The meal was amazing, the staff were friendly and the restaurant was beautifully decorated.
Now, we are back at the hotel watching TV and munching on popcorn.

Not that long ago I would have very quickly turned down watching this sort of movie because I was so sure I wouldn't be interested in them, and I used to be very particular about the films I liked to watch.But with a lot of pushing from my dad and brother, and comments about movies from one of my best friends, I finally gave in and decided to give them a try. Lost In Paris?! - Storytime

I can't remember the year I went to this school, but I went to a school near to where I live which was bilingual. There were students from across Europe but most students were Swiss. I didn't like my main class teacher very much but I am not going to be talking about class. Instead, today, I am going to talk about our school trip to Paris, France. The French class I was in my brother was part of too, which had its positives and negatives, which I also won't go into but our class was small because we were one of the "learning french as foreign students" class. So, for this camp there were about six students and my main class teacher came along too, of course, and my English teacher, which was not the same English teacher as my brother. It was a warm spring day and outside the birds were singing. Jessica stood alone in the cold and dim underground station, after spending the Saturday morning shopping, in London, with her friends, and waited for the train to come. The world seemed to be at peace, but Jessica felt strange, as if something bad was about to happen. Something bad. She just couldn't think what it was.  Suddenly, just as the train was pulling in, Jessica saw a flicker of something black to the right side of her. She shrugged, and got onto the packed train.  Surprisingly, she found an empty seat beside a young man, of about twenty.
