She Told Me To Shut Up....| Stories From My Trip To Prince Edward Island,2015
My dad had to work a bit while we were there, so on one of the afternoons, my dad worked back at the hotel, while I went to the high street, which was just off the road of our hotel, to check the shops and explore. My dad had given me some money, to buy some things, so I would not have nothing to do. While, walking down the road I saw this oldish lady and she kept looking at me. I tried to ignore her, and walked past her with no problems. Later, I saw her again, and she saw me. I was holding the bag of free books I had just got, at the time, and she looked at me and stopped me, asking me for some money. I, of course, was weary of her and was not really ready to give her some of my money- which I guess was a bit mean- but I wanted to buy things, like souvenirs or something. I remember telling her that I had no money to give her. She looked at me. Frowned. And said, "Oh, shut up!" Before turning, and walking off. I was taken aback by her snappy comment, and later on that day, when I told my dad he thought it was really funny... which I guess it was a little.
But... I did see that lady a couple more times during my stay there and I am sure she frowned at me each time she saw me. She was really weird and I made sure that I never had to be near her again, if possible, just in case she tried to grab me or take my money... which didn't happen, not that anybody was worried, especially my dad..at the time... who was in fits of laughter when I tried to seriously retell the story of the lady.

I have also, already mentioned the story of the young orphan girl who we met, who wrote that she wanted to meet her birth parents, on the "Before I Die.." wall. So, I don't really have much to say about her. But, after she left, my dad and I looked over a couple of the notes people had written on the board and it was then that I saw an envelope that had two cinema tickets inside, which were for that very evening. I can't remember the name of the show, but I do remember I was the youngest in the cinema room at the time, and it was a two people play. I also remember it was about hockey, and I did not understand many of the jokes... which I am not sure if that was a good thing or not, especially with the fact I was the youngest person in the room watching the play. But, I still enjoyed it even though it helped that the tickets were free, and we just found them in an envelope, because I am sure if we had had to pay it would not have been as exciting.

I had a couple more stories in my head before, but I can't think right now, but I will end this with one last story about my holiday with my dad and that is when the fire alarm went off in the hotel on one of the nights. I hated it.
So, right next to our hotel was a fire station, which I guess was a very handy thing for the hotel.
I can't actually remember everything, especially since at the time I was half asleep. I just remember the fire alarm going off late at night, and I hate waking up early, so I had insisted that I stay in bed as it was probably just a alarm check or something, but of course my dad made me get out of bed and we left the bedroom and joined all the hotel guests outside the hotel, wearing pyjamas, and just to note not everyone was wearing the most appropriate night wear, especially outside in the cold in the middle of the night. It felt we were outside for ages. I am sure not even all the guests bothered to get out of bed, but everything was fine and we all went back to our bedrooms to go back to bed before the morning came. In fact, I don't think I feel asleep for ages after that.
But I do remember, that breakfast was free in the hotel the next morning, to apologize for the night before.

I would actually love that!
