My Top 10 Places I'd Love To Visit ✈️

I love visiting new places and traveling. I've been on some great family holidays to places in France, Italy, Germany and Spain. I live in Switzerland, therefore I have visited a couple places here like Berne, Zurich and Luzern and as I am originally from England, I have been to a number of places there. But there are so many more places in Switzerland and the United Kingdom I would love to visit and explore.

One of my favourite family holidays was to Italy, especially to Venice. Venice was a beautiful place with lots of old buildings, museums, and paths to walk down and explore and the water, glistening in the sunshine. I really like visiting places beside water; lakes, seas... because they give a sense of peacefulness and it's just really beautiful on warm sunny days.

My all time favourite holiday that I have had so far was my trip to Prince Edward Island, Canada. I went with my dad to celebrate my 18th Birthday. I am a huge fan of Anne Of Green Gables, and the stories are based in Prince Edward Island. I got to visit the Green Gables House and had a tour of the area. Prince Edward Island, obviously as it's an Island, is also surrounded by water and as I said I love places near water. (I have actually done a post about some stories from this holiday, which is also on this blog if you are interested in reading it...)

Now, onto the places I'd love to visit. There are a lot of places I have not been and think would be absolutely amazing to explore but I am going to try and cut my list down to my top ten, and I'll try and give a reason why to each.

  1. I'd love to visit Amsterdam. I know some people who have been there, and I have seen some beautiful pictures. It just looks like a beautiful place to visit during the summer, when it is sunny and warm. I love museums and there seems to be a few that seem interesting. I would also really like to visit Anne Frank's House. I have her diary and I also find history very fascinating. History is one of my favourite subjects. It's been at the top of my holiday destinations list for ages, and I can't wait for the opportunity.
  2. Paris. I have been before, on a school trip, but it wasn't a very good experience and we got lost and we just ran around from one place to another and we didn't get to appreciate anything. I would also really like to go to Disneyland. And see the Louvre Museum.
  3. Iceland. Now, this has actually been on my list for a while but never really as a top one and then I recently came across some pictures on Instagram and it looks like a really beautiful place, and then a friend of mine said he would love to go and that led to me look it up again and now it's moved up my list. It looks absolutely beautiful, the scenery is just amazing and that's just in pictures. I'm sure it looks even more amazing in person.
  4. Greece. Perhaps Athens.  I feel that there is so much history to uncover in Greece and so many old and beautiful buildings. And it just looks really beautiful and just an amazing holiday destination.
  5. I have a couple of online friends that live in India, and because of that I have to say I would just have to add India to my list. I just feel it would be a great experience too.
  6. Australia. Pictures look amazing and it just seems like a beautiful place. I would also really like to see the animals there. Kangaroos. Who can say no to seeing a kangaroo?!
  7. Florida. The theme parks, the beaches....I just feel it would be a good holiday destination.
  8. New York. My brother went for a birthday celebration with one of our cousins and our dad, and I wanted it to be a special trip for him since I got mine to Prince Edward Island, but I am a little jealous that I didn't get to go and it looks amazing, and I hear a lot of people talk about it and seen it in movies too.
  9. Los Angeles. A lot of people I watch live there, and also I just find it a fascinating place. It is such a popular place and I would just love to see what all the fuss is about...
  10. Ireland. Scotland. Wales....not sure which one to say so I decided to just write all three.

Where are some of your top holiday destinations, that you would love to visit??
