Just another fangirl... #askthefangirl

I am a fan of a couple things, and a lot of my online friends are too. So, I came across the #askthefangirl questions a little while ago, and thought about answering them on here but kept putting it off but I am a little bored right now so here I am, finally answering them. I like doing these sort of posts because I can look back at them and see how I have changed or how my thoughts have changed. Anyway, let's just start...

1) First person I've ever obsessed over?

I am not really sure, to be honest. I remember that back when I had twitter, years ago, the first celebrity I followed was Taylor Swift and I used to always listen to her songs and sing along. But I wouldn't really say that I was obsessed with her, or anyone else..as far as I remember. 

2) Current obsession?

Hmm..this is a little bit of a hard one...

I have really been loving Lewis Capaldi, and been listening to a lot of his songs.

Sam Smith's To Die For, I know almost all the words to that song. 

I love watching Carpool Kareoke with James Corden. 

I have just started re-watching FRIENDS, a little, for like the 4th time, because I love that show and also really been loving How I Met Your Mother.

3) Favourite band?

One Direction. I love One Direction, have from almost the very start. My favourite is Niall Horan followed by Harry Styles. 

I also like The Backsteet Boys and The Beatles...

I listen to them occasionly. 

4) Favourite singer?

Niall Horan. He's my celebrity crush, most of the people that know me already know that. 

But, I also like Julia Michaels, Selena Gomez, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, James Arthur and Lewis Capaldi...to name a few. 

5) Favourite youtuber?

Again, this is a really hard question to answer. I actually did a post on some of my favourites youtubers so I don't feel I really have to go into all that. But, I think if I had to pick one...umm, Mark Ferris is great, and always makes me laugh. But I love so many!

6) First concert?

I have sadly never been to a concert but I would really love to. Not really a surprise, but I would love to go to a Niall Horan concert. Also would love to see Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi and Ed Sheeran. But yeah, Niall Horan is defiantly high up on my list. 

7) Favourite movie?

I like a lot of favourite movies, so I could be here forever. 

I love The Sound Of Music, Fiddler On The Roof, and Titanic, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility...just to name a few. 

But I love a lot of movies, espcially anything romance or historic. When its a mix of historic and romance...most likley will end up on my list somehow.

8) Favourite actor/actress?

I love Julie Andrews. She is my favourite actress.

I have a couple other actresses that I like, but Julie Andrews is defiantly up top, no questions asked. 

But, for actors...I like so many and it's so hard to just pick one...

To name a few actors: Colin Firth, Leonardo DiCaprio, Hugh Jackman, Tom Holland, and Hugh Grant. 

9) First celebrity crush?

Hmm..I don't know. I don't really think I had one.

I really liked Mr. Bean, the character not the actor, when I was around 9 or 10, which my dad and sister really teased me about when I told them years later, and I really liked the TV presenter Matt Baker...but they aren't really celebrities. 

I really liked Johnathon Crombie's portrayal of Gilbert Blythe. So, I guess Johnathon Crombie was kind of a celebrity crush too. 

10) Ever got made fun of for what I like? 

Not exactly made fun of but I have been teased a little by family members. But, honestly

it doesn't really bother me. 

11) Favourite book?

Anne of Green Gables by L.M.Montgomery.

Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

To name a few. 

I love reading but recently haven't really been doing that much, I really need to get back into it...

12) Favourite TV show?

Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Gilmore Girls, and Jane the Virgin...to name a few.

13) Favourite fictional character?

Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe- Anne of Green Gables

Mr. Darcy - Pride and Prejudice 

Jack Dawson- Titianic 

To name a few...

14) Something I love about a fandom I'm in?

Well, I am not really deep in any fandom but I think in most fandom groups I would say I am kind of part of..the people are often really friendly and their edits are amazing. 

15) Something I hate about a fandom I'm in?

Well, I have gotten a lot of death threats and hate comments from some One Direction fans when I have said I don't like some of the solo songs by one of the boys or that I am not a huge fan of one of the boys...

A lot of directioners are defiantly very serious about their love of the One Direction members. 

16) Would I ever take a bullet for someone I fangirl over?

No, I don't think so. I don't know... hmm...

17) Do I ever hide the fact I like someone out of fear of getting teased?

With some of my "friends" in the past, maybe a little bit, but not really...

18) Have I ever met any of my idols?

I wouldn't call any of the celebriries I like my "idols" but..

I have seen both Liam Payne, from One Direction, and Julie Andrews in airports a couple or so years ago but never got the courage to talk to either of them...which I am still a little annoyed at myself about.

I saw Liam in Toronto airport and I saw Julie Andrews in Geneva airport. 

19) Do I have any merch of the people I fangirl over?

I have some Friends t-shirts, about three in total, but I don't know if they are proper merch pieces but other than that nope... 

I would love one of Niall Horan's Heartbreak Weather Hoodies or some merch from a couple of the youtubers I watch. 

20) Favourite fangirl moment? 

Seeing Liam Payne and Julie Andrews? 

Umm.. haven't really had any apart from that...

Some youtubers I watch have replied to my DMs and that sort of thing, but I have nothing specific...sadly.
