My Netflix Show Recommendations ๐ฟ #1
I love Netflix. I love finding new shows to watch, and just sitting back and enjoying a good show. I get very easily hooked to new series and often binge-watch them and then get a little annoyed at myself for watching it so quickly.
I thought it would be nice to make a list of some of the shows I’ve watched on Netflix to give you some ideas if you are looking for something to watch yourself.
So...here’s the list...๐คท๐ฝ♀️
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Police detectivies in New York- following their adventures at work, their friendships and bonds, family and love.
I was recommended this show by an old friend of mine and really like it.
The Big Bang Theory
A group of scientist friends struggling to find love as well as juggling their work and friendships at the same time.
I first started watching this show when in hotels, usually when on holiday in England, and then decided to watch the whole thing on Netflix when I found it on there.
Jane The Virgin
This show is about a young women who gets artificially impregnated by accident which leads to a love triangle between her fiancรฉ and the baby's dad. Its the story of how she deals with her crazy life, that she had never planned, and how she decided who the love of her life is along the way.
The last season isn't available for me in Switzerland, which I am very sad about, but I know for sure its all out in other countries.
Gilmore Girls
Lorelei Gilmore is a young single mother of Rory and the show follows their relationship and struggles through life, along with their friendships, family difficulties, school and work life and of course finding love.
There is also a Gilmore Girls: Year In The Life (the continuation) but I really don't think its that good, as I feel it ruins their growth from the original series a bit.
I'm also #TeamJess even though I love Dean a lot too, in the earlier seasons,... if you have seen the show you will know what I am talking about there.
That 70s Show
A show following six young friends in the 70s, and the adventures their get up to each day along with their friendships, romances and family life.
Friends
This is one of my all time favourite shows that I have watched on Netflix. Most people know about Friends, even if they haven't watched it.
It follows six friends along their friendship, romances and love life, and their work life.
I love this show. I've watched it like ten times all the way through.
How I Met Your Mother
If you like Friends, then I'm sure you'll like this show too.
It follows the friendships and love lives of five friends and the ups and downs it includes.
I really like the show, but I did get a little annoyed at the characters at times and not a big fan of the ending but its defiantly worth a watch...
Full House
A story of family, friendship, love and the importance of all three of those things in life.
I really love this show.
I was hooked from the start.
But sadly, it is now no longer on Netflix which I am very sad about because I would defiantly want to watch it again but not sure where I can now.
Fuller House
The continuation of Full House, about 30 years later I think... not sure.
It follows the children's adult lives, from Full House, and the ups and downs of life and how important having your friends and family close by is.
Many of the cast from Full House are in it, plus a bunch of new faces.
Alexa and Katie
Alexa and Katie are best friends that do everything together. They are ready to take on High School and all the adventures that go along with it but things get a little bit harder when Alexa gets diagnosed with cancer. But the two best friends never give up on each other and always have each others back.
Black Mirror
Black Mirror is a show about technology and how it has transferred almost every aspect of life. How life has been turned upside down with the use of technology in the modern world and how its dealt with along the way.
Each episode really makes you think about life and how crazy things in the modern world could be and their are many twists and turns in each episode, which I'm sure you will not really expect.
Each episode words alone like its own short film.
I haven't watched every episode yet, and haven't been watching them in order. I really want to watch more but I have been watching them with my boyfriend and it kind of feels a little weird to continue watching them alone but I think I might just give in and continue them anyway.
I'm Not Okay With This
This show is about high school and what that means though work, friendships and dating but it has a little unexpected twist. Sydney discovers she has superpowers and finds it difficult to keep everything under control.
There is only one season currently out on Netflix, but I really am hoping there will be a second season soon.
So, over to you guys...
Have you watched any of the shows I've mentioned here?
What have you been watching on Netflix?
Any recommendations for me?
I'd love to know...
