Outside Cinema With Cousins & My Movie Review
On Friday the 21st of July,my uncle, and my auntie along with three of my cousins visited my family here in Switzerland, and for their first evening here my siblings, cousins and I went to an outside cinema, which was set up just for a month this Summer, to see Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. I am sure that we all enjoyed the movie but the downside of the evening is that it rained. And as it was all outside, we were all soaked.
When we arrived we were actually surprised that a lot of people had turned up and braved the rain, but thinking about it things are very expensive in this country and once you have payed for something you feel you have to go through with your plans, no matter what the weather. While waiting for the film to start we found some seats, which were wet, and we all sat down and started to joke about the rain and how it was the, "worst day of our lives" and that "it would be like we were at sea with the pirates".
One of my cousins turned up at the cinema wearing shorts and flip flops, and even though we all laughed at him for his decision of clothing, I think it was rather a good idea because the next day we all had to put our shoes outside to dry in the sun, and my shoes were still soaked the next day.
On arriving at the cinema, we also found out that all watchers were treated to a free mini tub of Ben and Jerry ice cream, and as that is one of my favourite brands of ice cream things looked positive, even with the fact we were all cold and wet.

This was the first Pirates Of The Caribbean movie that I have seen ever, and I really enjoyed it and would defiantly watch it again if I had the chance. I have heard it is not as good as the first and second movies in the series but as I have not seen them I cannot say the same, but I still want to them all now after watching this movie.

Review:
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales finds Johnny Depp returning as the quirky and eccentric Captain Jack Sparrow, who has found himself in an unlucky situation without a ship and the addition of facing a ship of deadly ghost sailors, led by the ghostly and terrifying Captain Salazar, Jack's old arch-enemy, who have escaped from the Devil’s Triangle with the mission of killing every pirate at sea—especially Captain Jack Sparrow.
The legendary Trident of Poseidon is Jack Sparrow’s only chance of defeating the dead, but to find it he must form an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth, who is a brilliant and beautiful astronomer and Henry, who is a headstrong young sailor from the Royal Navy.
At the wheel of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small, old and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent ill fortune, but to save his own life from the most hateful and malicious foe he has ever faced.
My Rating & Thoughts On Movie:
I really enjoyed this movie, and even though I have heard this movie is nowhere near as good as the others in the series I still thought it was a very enjoyable watch. I would give this movie a 4 out of 5.
But as I said, I have nothing to base my overall opinion of the movie on as I have yet to see the rest of the movies in the series. However, I liked how Jack Sparrow was portrayed by Johnny Depp and how all the characters personalities helped move the story along in a gripping and excitable way.
I was left a little confused by a the backgrounds of the couple of the characters, which may be because I have not watched the other movies in the series, but everything else was very easily followed.
After hearing a number of negative comments on this film I was not sure what to think when I arrived at the cinema but I was worried I would not enjoy it, or that it would not be very good. I know there is a lot of different opinions of this film, because its the fifth in the series. But, I really enjoyed the movie and how the story was developed over the length of the film. It was very intense, and some parts were a little creepy, and may be scary for younger viewers.
