I saw Liam Payne?! - Storytime

I am back again writing another Storytime from my life. These types of posts have been the most asked for and people seem to love them so I decided I would write my time meeting two of my favourite celebrities....Liam Payne from One Direction and the talented actress Julie Andrews.

Both of these stories took place at airports, which is the best place to see celebrities because they travel around a lot. I'm going to start with meeting Julie Andrews, one of my favourite actresses who stars in my favourite musical of all time, "The Sound Of Music"

I think it was last Christmas holidays, but I could be wrong. We were on our way back from England and we had landed in Geneva. I am really sure these facts are right. Anyway, we were collecting out bags and my sister and I were really tired so we sat down on these seats while we waited for the bags. My brothers and parents were standing nearby talking. So, my sister and I were almost falling asleep when I heard a familiar voice. A voice that can't be mistaken but I guess I was so tired I realised I knew the voice but my mind was muddled and I couldn't think. I didn't want to be rude and turn around to look but of course I ended up looking behind me and there of course was the Queen herself Julie Andrews. I kind of wanted to jump up then and tell her how much I love her and the movies she plays in but I was feeling like a zombie and I guess nothing fully clicked in my brain. Then my sister looked at me and whispered that she recognised the voice. I guess it properly clicked to me then and I kind of got really excited and tried my best not to stare at her. I'm sure if I was not so shy and so tired at the time that I would probably have said something even if it was just a hello. But of course none of us got the chance to say anything and I settled to just listen to her voice as she talked to her travel companions. But I must say...her voice is so peaceful and soothing. I could listen to it all day.

And next is the time I saw the one and only Liam Payne. I have told this story to a lot of my One Direction Fan Friends and even though they know the story they insisted that I write about it in a blog post so their wishes have come true and I am going to tell the story now. Before I start, I must say I was more awake when I saw him then when I saw Julie Andrews. This story takes place in the Summer of 2015. I have mentioned some things that happened on this trip but I am very very sure I did not mention this story I am about to tell. So, this took place while on the way to Prince Edward Island for a holiday alone with my dad. We had travelled from Geneva to London and from London to Toronto, Canada.
So, I actually remember looking around the airport lounge, in London, while we waited for our flight to be announced, and wondering if any celebrities would be there and if there would be any I recognised because I know that airports are the best place to see anyone at all. I didn't see anyone and I guess that was upsetting but there was lots of food and my dad's Ipad to distract me so all was fine.
We then got the call to get on the plane, after a very long wait, and we got to our seats and watched a couple movies and ate food on our flight to Toronto. Now, when we arrived was when the excitement started.
So, we got off the plane and I was talking to my dad when I looked up and saw a group of about four people in front of us. Straight away I knew who one of them was. The one and only Liam Payne from One Direction.
I wanted to say hello to him or something, but there were two very big things stopping me and these two things were I'm shy and my dad. Let me explain.... Liam and his parents and some other guy were walking very slowly and Liam Payne was standing in front of my dad, a little bit in front. My dad had no idea who he was and kept telling me how annoyed he was that the people in front of us were walking so slowly. He said a couple times that he would tell them to hurry up. But of course I stopped him, and tried my best to explain without them hearing. Of course, we were in no rush but nobody likes slow people so it was kind of amusing how my dad reacted to how slow they were walking.
I never got to say hello to him or anything but I was defiantly excited about the situation, plus it is actually really funny now thinking how my dad might have told him off.
