The Christmas Tag 🎄- Countdown To Christmas
I thought I would try do Blogmas this year, which is posting everyday until Christmas.
Let's see how this goes...
Today, I thought I would start simple and do the Christmas Tag.
Welcomed in the first day of December with the first snow of the year!!
☃️
I have the Christmas songs playing, let's answer some questions....
1- What was the best Christmas gift you have ever been given?
I think probably my Onesie. I love it. Its purple, soft and warm!!
Oh, and my first camera.
It's small, red, and really cute.
I love that little camera.
2- Be honest: do you prefer giving or receiving gifts better?
100% love giving gifts better.
I love giving gifts to people.
3- Do you open presents on Christmas Eve?
We always opened them on Christmas Day, as far as I remember, but we don't do Christmas gifts really anymore. But when with extended family we might be given something and maybe open it when we get them or wait until Christmas.
4- Have you ever made a snowman?
Yes! Of course... but I wouldn't say it was the best snowman. I am not really a fan of playing out in the snow. I prefer sitting inside in the warmth and looking out at the white beauty while I sit by the fire.
5- Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Don't have one.
But when we did we had a fake one.
They are just easier but I love the idea of having a real one.
6- Most memorable holiday moment?
I don't really have one most memorable but anytime extended family came over from England to visit us in Switzerland were always a favourite of mine. Sadly got no extended family visiting this year or going to England to see them...because of you know what.
7- Tell me about someone who makes your Christmas day very special?
My Family!
I can't possibly just pick one person.
But my mum and sister do most of the cooking so a lot wouldn't happen without them.
8- How have you prepared for Christmas so far?
We don't really do gifts so don't really have to do any Christmas shopping but I have a couple advents, and my mum has made Christmas goodies...so far she has made mince meat for homemade mince pies, Christmas Puddings, and a Christmas cake. I also went to Lush today and got a couple Christmas themed bath bombs...it was so hard to pick!
9-Do you have an advent calendar this year?
I have three!
I have a Lindt Calendar, a Reese's Calendar, and a "beauty" one.
I was going to get The Body Shop one but I left it a bit too late as they were none left when I went on the hunt this afternoon. I am kind of upset about that, but I guess I will just have to wait until next year.
10- Do you prefer celebrating birthdays or Christmas?
Honestly, I think Christmas. Christmas means so much delicious foods, decorations, Christmas movies and songs, and most importantly family.
11- What is the worst Christmas gift you've been given?
I can't really think of anything.
I have gotten really random things, that I didn't like much, from playing a sort of Secret Santa game but I can't really think of anything specific.
12- What is your favourite part of the Christmas Dinner? And favourite Christmas sweet treats?
Christmas Dinner-Turkey, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets....
Sweet Treat- Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding and all the chocolates.
13- What is your favourite Christmas song?
I am listening to a Christmas playlist right now on YouTube and there are so many I haven't heard before or heard in ages but my all time favourites are Last Christmas, All I Want For Christmas Is You, Drummer Boy, Mary Did You Know...I have a lot of favourites...haha...
14- What is your favourite Christmas movie?
The Grinch, Elf, Home Alone.
I saw Last Christmas last year, and I loved that movie and really want to see it again.
15- What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
Family is number one.
Also food.
I also love the Christmas market but that is not happening this year because of you know what...
16- When do you start getting excited for Christmas?
I usually get excited when the Christmas markets go up in town, but that isn't happening.
That and, when I start seeing Christmas things appear in shops.
But, I am really missing the markets. It doesn't really feel like its Christmas time without them.
17- Where do you usually spend your Christmas Holidays?
In either of my two homes...
Either in Switzerland or go over to England.
And...
That's all the questions!!
Happy December 1st Everyone.
I hope you have all had a nice day today!
