What are your favourite things about Christmas?🎄 - Countdown To Christmas
I haven't been very good with this daily posting thing, have I! I haven't posted in ages...but I'm back and Christmas is next week (where did the time go?!) so I really want to try post as much as I can before then...but no promises.
Today I thought I would share some of my favourite things about Christmas...well the time leading up to Christmas Day...
The Christmas Market (which didn't happen this year), the Christmas decorations up around town or outside people's homes. I feel in Switzerland people don't get into decorating the outside of their houses much, well not that I've seen, but I still love seeing what they do put up. I also love all the Christmas themed items in the shops...especially Christmas Sweaters, The Body Shop Products and the Lush festive bath bombs.
The Starbucks Christmas Drinks. I am basically obsessed with Starbucks and I love their Christmas drinks, especially the Toffee Nut Latte. I always get excited for them to come out...even though I also get a little upset that when they come out it means the Pumpkin Spice Latte is no longer available.
Christmas baking!! My mum, sister and I all love to bake so there is always a lot of treats around. My mum has already made Christmas Pudding, Christmas cake, and lots of Mince Pies. Homemade Mince Pies are so much better than the ones from the store...if you haven't already, you really should make some of your own.
Christmas songs!! I love listening to Christmas Songs. I mean, who doesn't.
My niece also loves them...each time I've looked after her recently, she has begged to listen to some.
The only problem is if I listen to any song, I am going to have it in my head all day.
So many times over the last couple weeks or so I have hummed Christmas songs at work, or in the morning when getting ready.
Last year we had Christmas songs on repeat, especially the songs by Pentatonix.
Family!!
Often for Christmas we have gone to England to visit extended family members but that's not happening this year, sadly.
But this year I'll be spending Christmas with my parents, siblings, brother in law and niece.
The holidays!!
I am looking forward to have a holiday.
Two weeks of freedom, even though I am very likely to be doing a little studying during my holidays.
I'm looking forward to be able to sleep in a bit in the mornings...
Christmas movies!!
Cosying up, alone or with my family, and watching a good movie.
It's always a good time...
So far this Christmas season, I have watched Netflix's Holidate, The Grinch, Love Actually, and Elf.I have so many more on my Netflix list which I am excited to watch...
So, that is my list of my favourite things about this time of year!
I have a question for you all:
What is your favourite Christmas Movie?
