Winter Date Ideas... ⛄- Countdown To Christmas

 I wanted to share some activities you could do for your next date. These ideas would also work as things to do with your friends this winter season. I know a lot of things are probably closed because of the current situation we have found ourselves in this year but hopefully some of these can be done where you are....


"Let's Stay In" -Ideas

- Bake and decorate cookies
-Make gingerbread houses...you could even make it into a contest and see who's is the best.
-Snuggle up in warm blankets and have a movie marathon. 
Don't forget the snacks!
- Have a game night...grab some cards, board games or even pull out the Wii games or video games you haven't played in a while. 
-Cook a meal together 
-Decorate the Christmas Tree or decorate your house...if you haven't already.
- Roast marshmallows and make some Smores. 
-Make a hot chocolate, or another wintery drink, and just chat while listening to music




"Let's Go Out"- Free Ideas

- Make a snowman or snow angels
-Go for a walk
-Go window shopping
-Hang up Christmas decorations in your garden or go out and admire others lights
-Have a wintery photo shoot
-Look around a Christmas Market...if you have one in your area
-Go Sledding 
-Go on a drive 
-Explore a new area..


Let's Go Outside- Other Ideas...

-Go Ice Skating
-Go Christmas Shopping
-Go to a coffee shop and try their Christmas drinks, if they have any
-Go to the cinema or a drive in cinema 
- Snowboarding, Skiing, Snowshoeing 
-Go to an inside swimming pool/spa

Not that long ago I would have very quickly turned down watching this sort of movie because I was so sure I wouldn't be interested in them, and I used to be very particular about the films I liked to watch.But with a lot of pushing from my dad and brother, and comments about movies from one of my best friends, I finally gave in and decided to give them a try. Lost In Paris?! - Storytime

I can't remember the year I went to this school, but I went to a school near to where I live which was bilingual. There were students from across Europe but most students were Swiss. I didn't like my main class teacher very much but I am not going to be talking about class. Instead, today, I am going to talk about our school trip to Paris, France. The French class I was in my brother was part of too, which had its positives and negatives, which I also won't go into but our class was small because we were one of the "learning french as foreign students" class. So, for this camp there were about six students and my main class teacher came along too, of course, and my English teacher, which was not the same English teacher as my brother. It was a warm spring day and outside the birds were singing. Jessica stood alone in the cold and dim underground station, after spending the Saturday morning shopping, in London, with her friends, and waited for the train to come. The world seemed to be at peace, but Jessica felt strange, as if something bad was about to happen. Something bad. She just couldn't think what it was.  Suddenly, just as the train was pulling in, Jessica saw a flicker of something black to the right side of her. She shrugged, and got onto the packed train.  Surprisingly, she found an empty seat beside a young man, of about twenty.
